Frequently Asked
CSAB Special Round 2026 registration and choice filling opened on 28 July 2026 and closes on 3 August 2026. Choice locking runs to 5 August, Round 1 seat allotment is on 6 August, and Round 2 allotment is on 12 August. Verify all dates on csab.nic.in.
The CSAB Special Round allocates NIT, IIIT, and GFTI seats that remain vacant after the main allotment rounds conclude. In 2026 it runs 28 July to 18 August — registration 28 July to 3 August, Round 1 allotment 6 August with reporting to 11 August, and Round 2 allotment 12 August with reporting to 17 August. You must register separately on csab.nic.in.
MHT-CET 2026 CAP Round 1 option entry ran 28–30 July, with Round 1 seat allotment on 2 August and seat acceptance plus institute reporting from 3 to 5 August. Round 2 allotment is on 12 August and Round 3 allotment on 24 August. Check cetcell.mahacet.org for the official schedule.
IPU CET 2026 counselling runs on ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates admitted after the sliding round must complete balance fee payment, reporting, and document verification between 30 July and 3 August 2026. GGSIPU announces any spot round separately on ipu.ac.in. Admissions to GGSIPU happen through IPU CET, JEE Main, CUET, and other national exams depending on the program.
Yes. CSAB, IPU CET, and each state counselling (MHT-CET, AP EAMCET, TNEA, KCET, COMEDK) require separate registrations on separate portals with independent deadlines. Many students miss a CSAB or state deadline because they assume one registration covers everything. We track all deadlines so you never miss a window.
You get a dedicated 1:1 counselor who handles rank analysis, preference list building, round-by-round strategy, freeze/float/slide decisions, and 24×7 WhatsApp support during critical windows. We cover CSAB, IPU CET, and state counselling — all in one package.
Our pricing depends on how many counselling portals you need help with. Reach out to us on WhatsApp or fill the contact form for a personalized quote. We keep our fees significantly lower than big coaching institutes while offering more personalized attention.
Absolutely. We help with post-allotment queries too — document verification guidance, reporting procedures, branch upgrade possibilities, and even lateral entry advice. Your counselor stays available until you're fully settled in your college.
Freeze — you accept your current allotment permanently and opt out of further rounds. Float — you want to be considered for any higher-preference choice (different college or better branch) next round; if nothing better comes, you keep your current seat. Slide — you want only a better branch at the same currently allotted college, without risking a move to a different institute. Not sure which to pick? Use our free Freeze/Float/Slide tool on this page for a personalised recommendation.
Order your choice list strictly by what you want most — not by what you think you can get. Put your dream college and branch at the top, then work downward. Because CSAB only fills seats left vacant, check the published vacancy matrix before locking, then include as many NIT, IIIT, and GFTI choices as possible. A common mistake is leaving the list too short or ordering by predicted allotment instead of genuine preference, which leads to missed upgrades in Round 2. Our counsellors help you build a rank-based strategic list using 2025 official closing rank data.
Yes — if you are eligible for both, run them in parallel. They cover entirely different colleges and have independent schedules. CSAB covers vacant NIT, IIIT, and GFTI seats nationally. State counselling like MHT-CET CAP, AP EAMCET, TNEA, KCET, and COMEDK covers your home-state and private colleges, often with lower fees and home-state quota advantages. IPU counselling covers GGSIPU-affiliated colleges like USICT, MAIT, and MSIT. Holding a state seat as backup while you chase a CSAB allotment is the standard safe strategy — each portal has a separate registration and seat pool, so missing one means missing its colleges entirely.
