NEET UG 2026 results came out on 16 July 2026. Rajasthan had not published a confirmed 2026 counselling calendar at the time of this update, and states generally sequence themselves around MCC's schedule — which is also still pending. Bonafide Residence: Rajasthan's Eligibility Test
Rajasthan state quota seats require you to establish that you are a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. In practice that means a bonafide/residence certificate supported by schooling records, parental residence, or parental government service in the state, depending on which limb of the definition you fall under.
Bonafide certificates are issued by district authorities and can take days to weeks. Candidates who start the application after registration opens are the ones who end up begging for a deadline extension that never comes.

Rajasthan has in recent years required around two years of state service from government medical college graduates, with a penalty in the region of ₹5 lakh for not serving. Deferment to complete postgraduate study has commonly been permitted.
