About these dates
A date is marked tentative until it appears in an official notification from the authority that owns it. MCC has already revised the 2026 Round 1 choice-filling window once, and state bodies routinely shift by a few days. We would rather show you an honest tentative date than a confident wrong one, so treat every tentative row as a prompt to check the official portal before you act.
No. MCC registration covers only the 15% All India Quota. Each state opens a separate portal with its own window, its own fee and its own document formats. Missing a state registration window is the most common way students lose access to 85% of the seats in their own state.
Yes. Under the current MCC scheme the third stage is called Round 3; earlier cycles called the same stage the mop-up round. It is followed by an online Stray Vacancy round, which is filled from the existing merit list with no fresh registration.
During counselling season we re-verify MCC and state schedules weekly, and within 24 hours of any MCC notification. Every date here carries the verification stamp shown at the foot of the table. Dates are always confirmed against the authority’s own portal, never against an aggregator.
