Domicile in Madhya Pradesh

The MP Bond — Two Different Obligations
Madhya Pradesh's bond is worth understanding precisely, because it is not one number:
- Standard government quota bond: approximately one year of service, with a penalty broadly in the ₹5–10 lakh range depending on category.
- Scholarship / subsidised-scheme admissions: a longer obligation — around two years in recent cycles — reflecting the additional state support received.
- Discontinuation penalty: separate from the service bond, MP has applied a substantial penalty for leaving the course mid-way, historically far larger than the service-bond penalty itself.
